Breakdown Claims Handler (Part time) 16 – 20 hours per week.

Basic salary up to £8.22 – £9.87 per hour (depending on experience)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Breakdown Claims Advisorto join us at our stylish Head Office in Harrogate town centre.

Working as part of a vibrant and friendly team, the part time Breakdown Claims Advisor role is responsible for providing assistance to customers following a vehicle breakdown or road traffic accident.

Our part time Breakdown Claims Handler will be required to work evenings and weekends from 5pm – There are a variety of shifts available with some level of flexibility. Shifts will be discussed in further detail during the interview process but if you need further clarification please contact us

The Role

You’ll be answering inbound calls from customers wishing to make a claim on their policy. You’ll be dealing with customers who are in a variety of different situations; ranging from vehicles that won’t start at a home address, through to roadside breakdowns or road traffic accidents.

You will offer verbal support and advice to customers regarding their breakdown or motor incident, and whilst doing this you’ll be delivering a market leading standard of customer care.

In addition to speaking to our customers, you’ll also liaise with our nationwide network of recovery agents, and colleagues from other departments within the business.

You will also be an effective communicator,who is empathetic,

reassuring and understanding when speaking to customers on the telephone.

You should be an organised individual,who is able to work efficientlywhilst maintaining attention to detail.
