Basic salary up to £18,650 per annum (depending on experience)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a number of Customer Service Advisors to join us at our stylish Head Office in Harrogate town centre.

The Customer Service Advisor role is responsible for assisting customers with queries regarding their Breakdown or Motor Insurance policies.

Our Customer Service teams work 37.5 hours over 5 days, including 1 or 2 Saturdays per month 9am – 1pm, and weekday shifts between the hours of 8.00am – 6.30pm.

The Role

You will offer verbal support and advice to customers when they have queries regarding their Breakdown or Motor Insurance policies, and whilst doing this you’ll be delivering a market leading standard of customer care.

You will also carry out administrative of policies, ensuring that all tasks are carried out accurately and efficiently within the required timescales.

In addition to supporting customers, you will also be working closely with the other functions within the business so building effective relationships with both colleagues, and customers, is key.

You will also be an effective communicator,who has a good standard of written communication and who is empatheticand understandingwhen speaking to customers and colleagues.

You should be an organised individual,who is able to work efficiently whilstmaintaining attention to detail.

On a day to day basis you will deal with a variety of different queries and tasks, and therefore you will be adaptableand able to work methodicallyto make logical decisionsin line with NCI’s policies, processes and procedures.
