Salary –£25,000 – £50,000 plus performance bonus, depending on experience

Location – Regional role, home based. All regions considered

NCI are a consumer focused insurance broker, specialising in the pet insurance, motor insurance and vehicle breakdown cover. Our business operates both B2C and B2B channels, retail business trades under 4Paws (Pet insurance), NCI Insurance (motor) and Rescuemycar.com (breakdown).

Established in 2000 and operating from modern offices in the spa town of Harrogate.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Pet Insurance Regional Development Executive to join our business. Working from home, supported by a vibrant and friendly team, the ideal candidate has responsibility for successfully managing and developing close working relationships with new and existing veterinary practices, charities and other affinities, with a focus on achieving profitable growth in line with the business’ strategic objectives.

The Role

  • To develop and maintain your regional database of vet practices, groups and other business partners
  • To provide a consistently professional standard of service to all partners and stakeholders
  • To maintain and continually develop an active pipeline of new business opportunities
  • To implement and oversee new partnership programmes effectively and to action these within agreed timeframes
  • To understand the primary systems and procedures in each section of our business and work with each section as required to plan successful implementations of new accounts
  • To monitor account performance, identify trends and take action where required, to ensure we maximise revenues and maintain strong relationships
  • To deliver sales performance in line with department KPI’s & objectives
  • To effectively deal with difficult and contentious issues, bringing them to a successful conclusion
  • To prepare for and deliver professional and well-constructed presentations to colleagues, Senior Management and Business Partners
  • To understand commercial returns of our various services and design proposals, based on maximum conversion and profitability
  • To effectively control meetings with a view of achieving a specific outcome or to extract specific information
  • To attend meetings, conferences, trade shows and industry networking events as required, in order to increased brand awareness, develop new relationships and increase industry knowledge

The Candidate

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, who is able to build rapport with customers and provide a superior customer service experience.

You should be enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated to promote NCI’s brand and products in order to identify and convert sales opportunities.

You should be an organised individual, who is able to multi task and work efficiently with complex product information whilst maintaining attention to detail.


  • Ideally you will have a proven sales background ideally in a B2B environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience within the Insurance industry (Preferable)
