A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Services Team Leader to join us at our stylish head office in Harrogate town centre and work as part of a fun and vibrant team.

The Role

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, this exciting role would suit someone looking to build on their IT leadership and supplier management experience within a growing company.

With three direct reports and the opportunity to get involved in multiple areas of IT, not just a singular focus on IT Support, this role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their IT knowledge and increase their skill set. To elaborate, day-to-day management of IT Support is a main part of this role but the candidate will also be responsible for some product ownership and associated change co-ordination.

The IT department work 37.5 hours per week. For this role, flexible (pre agreed) working hours are available and working from home is being reviewed as an option as well!

On joining us you’ll bring with you:

  • Experience across the board with a strong team leadership, stakeholder management and supplier management skills
  • Understanding of how to maintain and continually improve an IT Support Service
  • Your ability to think outside the box when faced with a challenge and present ideas to the team, working collaboratively when you need help
  • Your working knowledge of the ITIL Framework, especially Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management

Ideally, but not essential, you’ll also have:

  • An understanding of Information Security Controls and related compliance
  • Project Management knowledge
  • An understanding of Software Development methodologies, such as Agile
